Lorenz attractor. Each frame of the animation presents a numerical solution of the Lorenz system when sigma=10, rho=28 and beta=8/3. This parameter set results in chaotic solutions tending to the Lorenz attractor which resembles a butterfly.
Principal components analysis. The animation is based on the first two principal components presented in Figure 2 of our publication concerning population genetics.

Pi within pi. Shown are 802 digits of pi mapped on the symbol of pi.
Survival time analysis. The picture is based on the survival time plot shown in Figure 5 of our publication concerning KMWin (Kaplan-Meier for Windows).
Principal components analysis. The picture corresponds to frame #24 of the respective animation above. Additionally, this picture was used for the cover page for the PDF version of our article regarding population genetics.
Recursion. To understand recursion, you first need to understand recursion.
bash -c 'a=0;r=0;for n in {0..536}; do [ $(((d=`printf %d "\"${0:$n:1}"`-48)>=0?
(a=a%10*10+d,++r&1):1)) -eq 0 ]&&printf \\`printf %o $((a+(a==1?9:32)))`;done' '

List of publications. Similar to the "Contact details" programme, the ACGT-coded text is processed by Bash commands and a list of publications shows up.
perl -e' ( $d , $z , $e ) = split "[<>]",

Out of the office notice. When run by Perl, a certain date is decoded from the text and appended to the notice.
